mean??
What does "mean" mean? Think about these sentences: "I didn´t mean to wake you up but..." " He´s the meanest man I know, he doesn´t even invite his friends to a coffee!" "It´s 19.00 hours, Greenwich Mean Time." " If you contradict him, he gets mean." " They have got to the means to do it." "What do you mean by that?" "Mean Woman Blues"

He didn´t want to wake you up.
" He´s the meanest man I know, he doesn´t even invite his friends to a coffee!" :
He is a miserly person. Even though he probably have money, doesn´t even pay a coffe to his friends.

The time fixed by the local hour of the Greenwich Meridian. I´ve been there!! It´s an Observatory but it´s half-ruined.
